This is Sirena (Mermaid). A one-year-old beautiful female galga. She is small, she weighs about 15 kgs, maybe less.
She is in a village, fostered by a girl, but several hunters ( galgueros) have already tried to steal her, so she needs to get out of that place as soon as possible.
Can you see the cat behind the fence? Well, that is the family cat, they seem to tolerate each other perfectly well... She shares house as well with another bitch and 12 and 13-year-old children.
She is a bit shy and scared of people ( esp. men) but once she gets to know you only a bit ( a little food helps gain her confidence very quickly) she is a very sweet dog.
She wandered into the village a few weeks ago, alone, she started to shyly join the children especially when they were with their dogs, they gave her food and finally a girl took her home. Thanks to that girl Sirena is not in the hands of some nasty galguero by now. She needs a family who really loves her as a companion, not as a hunter or breeder ...I'm sure she can give lots of love and devotion. And then, she is so gorgeous...!
