These beautiful puppies and their foster husky-mum are in a pound in León. They all need to find a new home, or they'll be killed. There are four puppies: two of them are black and red and the others are brown. .... Only one of them is a female, one of the brownies. They are 3 months old, and they have found a new mum in Shiva, the most maternal husky you can imagine.... When we were with them, she protected them all the time, she didn't leave them for a moment, and the pupies corresponded her attentions licking her and playing with her all the time. They are not her own, although when she arrived at the pound, she had given birth (problably twice) and she was in a terrible condition. Maybe in these puppies she saw the babies she had lost, maybe it was her immense sweetness and sense of protection, she just adopted and started to look after the little ones the moment she saw them.
Shiva is the sweetest and loveliest bitch in the world, she is 2 years old, she is small, about 15 kgs, and a real beauty as well. She spends the time looking after the babies, and they just adore her. They are so happy to have found a new mum, that they are around her all day... It was a really nice scene, all these animals together. The photos can't reflect the tenderness and love that exist between the members of this dog family, spontaneously formed in a pound: Shiva and the little motherless puppies. Sometimes you feel they can teach us humans so much about love and devotion.... Don't they all deserve a happy life and no more suffering? Let's hope they all can find a good home, each one of them, where they can go on making others happy for long long years.
