This bitch's name is Merme and she needs to find a home.
She is neutered and microchipped, and all her vaccinations are in order.
She was collected by one of our members and fostered by another, Dani. She was in a village where a hunter had abandoned her some days before. She lived in the street, some people gave her food but it was January, temperatures dropped to minus 8-10 degrees, and it snowed heavily. So the poor Merme was suffering all that cold, as she didn't have any kind of shelter at all. She followed all the cars that passed, maybe hoping to see her owner again; or maybe she was just asking for help. After a few unsuccessful attemps at getting her a home in the village, we decided to castrate, microchip and vaccinate her and take her to a foster home.
We must thank the people at the veterinary clinic of the University of León, who treated Merme so well.
Merme is a very sweet bitch, but unluckily she hasn't found a family yet...
She is young, about 2 years old, she weighs 24 kgs .
She is very calm and quiet and gets really cheerful when she is in the company of other dogs or people. She is a little shy with dominant dogs, but usually she plays with all the other dogs. She wags her tail upside down, instead of sideways....She is really a very special animal .Both she and her best friend, Ramón, who is by her side all the time, are waiting for their opportunity.....
