This sad, beautiful husky female is Luna, one of the bitches we foster. The poor Luna was wandering down a road, completely disoriented, when one of our collaborators, Dani, happened to drive by.
He stopped his car and Luna came over, very slowly, very frightened and shyly, desperate to find some sort of aid. Dani picked her up and took her to our good friend Gelines' house. She has lived there since.
Luna is extremely sweet and tender, extremely shy, and the poor thing is so traumatised that it takes some time to approach her, because her first reaction is to run away from people. However, she gets on well with the other dogs, and she is best friends with Pulgui, the tiny thing you can see behind her, hiding behind those branches. In one of the picutres Pulgui is lovingly licking Luna's face, as if to comfort her.
Luna is young , about two years old, desperate for affection but very very shy, so the person who adopts her will have to be patient and loving, so that Luna can start trusting humans again. She must have suffered a lot to be as frightened and traumatised as she is. You can see it in her eyes, and you can see it in her attitude, she tries to hide and to pass unnoticed, but at the same time she would like so much to be loved and looked after. She deserves an opportunity.
